Outpatient infusion services
At Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, we provide infusion therapy services for chronic diseases and cancer treatments in a friendly, welcoming environment. Our registered nurses have specialized training in infusion therapy, and are focused on patient safety and comfort. With comfortable recliners, television sets, and books and magazines, we are dedicated to making the experience as pleasant as possible.
Our specially trained nurses provide a range of therapies and close monitoring to ensure patient safety, including:
- Antibiotic therapy
- Blood transfusions
- Intravenous therapy (IV)
- Parenteral nutrition

Same Day Services
Through our Ambulatory Infusion services, we are able to give intravenous (IV) infusions for dehydration, as well as IV medications and blood product. These services are also performed on an outpatient basis. For questions regarding Ambulatory Infustion services, please call (573) 686-5388.
